If you were in this line, you should leave a comment. Here's how my story went: My sister, my best friend and his wife, and myself attended CIII. We decide to wrap up Day 2 early so we can line up for George Lucas (Day 3). We leave at 5:30pm. I had a nauseating headache, so I drop off my friend and my sister to line up at 8:15pm, and try to get some sleep. I catch a couple hours, and, feeling better, join the line at 1am, switching with my sister so that she can try to get some sleep. Because of the weather, the switch is rushed, and she ends up taking a plastic bag of supplies back to the hotel with her (including his still camera, his video camera, cell phones, walkie talkies,...oops!). At about 3:30am, the line moved inside the skywalk. As Chris tried to dry off, I ran around in search of a pay-phone (and phone book to find our hotel) to call my sister back to the line. She and my friend's wife didn't make it back to the Convention Center until an hour after the line had been moved inside, (which is why you see them in the non-FanClub line outside at 7:30am). After the show, my friend and I found the rental car in the parking garage and later found his wife and my sister in line just before it moved inside. Where we had been waiting in line the night before, there was now a graveyard of destroyed and/or abandoned chairs and umbrellas behind the line of Fan Club Members which was shuffling inside.
