If you don't know what that is, it's a novel writing challenge where you have to write 50,000 words in 30 days. Their goal is not to overthrow state, but to live. Their goal is not to defeat all evil that arises, but to protect themselves and each other. Living beneath the streets of Mannix City, this sanctum accessible between the deadly train tracks that tower over the outside world, there are other lesser groups beginning to want their own haven that it is rumoured only Froxen Underground can provide. They call themselves the Fens and have decided they want the underground for themselves but know if they go charging in, guns blazing, Froxen will win. In retaliation, the small group that keeps Froxen Underground working has decided to steal something. To take the new devices the Fens are making in attempts to gas out the alleged underground quarters. They are taking their biggest risk yet in self-defence and this small group call themselves, Froxen Blue. William Whiskey, the leader. Paige Prototype887, a cyborg. Remus Lancer, a spy and scout. Cedric Dogwood, the comms man. Jim Craig, the mechanic. Nona Buckingham, a healer and gunner. Storm; unidentified. Nicknamed the Blue Boys, they have not failed yet, but new attachments to the group are threatening to tip their mismatched collaboration as the son of a prestigious inventor is entrusted to them for safe keeping. Spiridon Dixie, an overlooked component in the vast complex of Crysts, schemes, knowledge and bartering. When the Latin script tattooed over Dixie's body finally make sense in the notes his father left behind, the Blue Boys find themselves in a race to beat the Fens to the Exidi. A machine that gives ultimate knowledge to the one who activates it, in turn granting them the capabilities to take over whatever they wish - including Froxen Underground. But with broken Codes of Conduct and cyborg copies running around, who can you trust anymore?
