"PRAYERS FOR PEACE IN TIBET" hosted religious leaders from Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh and Native American faiths as they came together for prayer in honor of those who have died and those who continue to suffer as tensions escalate inside of Tibet. The candlelight vigil featured traditional Tibetan prayer, the reading of eyewitness accounts from Tibet and the Free Tibet! presentation of a Joint Statement to the U.N Commission on Religious Freedoms which urges the Commission to request a call to action by the Chinese government.
