Title: Firehouse Rhythm Kings (2) gum surgery song [heehee] View count: 41 Rating: 0 (0 ratings) Description: This is a new song about gum surgery. [What? You've already tapped into this deep pocket of inspiration with your own gum-surgery song? Doesn't surprise me; everyone's got a gum-surge song these days. Here's one more then.] Firehouse Rhythm Kings is a new, swing music group headed by Joe Troop. After a packed performance at Cat's Cradle, I went by Chapel Hill's Fuse late late Sunday night 7/13/08 to see Alex's housemate on keyboards. Little did I know that in addition to Charles Cleaver I'd find so many familiar faces in this new swing group! The small floor area in front was cleared for swing dancing , and great times were had by all. Sorry these are so dark; it's my amateur camera. But you can get a feel for just how entertaining they are, nonetheless! Responding to the popularity of this new music project, Joe posted a website at http://www.myspace.com/firehouserhythmkings . For 1300 videos I've shot of groups playing around Chapel Hill, visit the blog(s) at http://www.myspace.com/betsyssmile (900+ videos are on myspace, but now most new postings are to youtube.).
