Cait Sith asks Karinastar if she had been doing as asked and alleviating the suffering of the war. The camera pans up to reveal Lilisette hiding in a tree watching. Karinastar seems a bit lost, and as Cait Sith begins to reveal that Karinastar has a great power, three female dancers from Lilisette's troupe leap out of hiding in an ambush on the pair. They knock Karinastar out and grab Cait Sith. Lilisette descends from the tree she was hiding in, and dismissing the unconscious Karinastar as one of Cait Sith's cronies, moves to interrogate the cat. However, insults are exchanged and Cait Sith is angered and scratches Lilisette's face. The screen fades to black and sounds of a fight are heard. Karinastar awakens to see that Cait Sith had injured all of the dancers. She tells Karinastar not to forget their chat, and teleports away. Lilisette confuses her troupe with talk of Cait Sith being an enemy from the future, then interrogates Karinastar and insists she come with Lilisette. Her dancers then divulge a little of her story, especially in regards to her strength and man troubles. Lilisette dismisses them, and asks Karinastar about her relation to Cait Sith. Karinastar tells Lilisette about the Cavernous Maws, and as Lilisette is about to tell her story, she spots Ragelise, Portia and Marakov ready to ride to La Vaule. Unable to stop them with her warnings, Lilisette asks Karinastar to accompany her and the two head to La Vaule.
