Title: Fallen View count: 37 Rating: 5.0 (3 ratings) Description: Cloaked in black, she wanders alone on this day So lost, out of touch, no color just this dreadful grey A heavy burdened heart beats in everlasting mourning Left tattered, beaten after a lifetime of abuse, unnecessary scorning Despite her own sorrow she nurtures what lies untended Wishing too, that somehow her brokenness could be mended Nothing matters as she walks amongst that which remains She once too was pure, now her soul is ragged with so many stains She feels somewhat at home among these empty unvisited tombs The sun does not shine and above her a storms warning looms She stays with those she loves still as death could not force them apart She holds on tight, clings to every ounce of feeling inside her heart She weeps at that which has fallen, no way to make it right She sees only darkness now as she has walked away from the light This final loss has been one more than death It has made her lay down and beg to lose her last breath The angel of death comes, comforts her, and takes her away This world broke her, in it she no longer wished to stay.
