My vision was to combine the traditional one man band of the minstrels and entertainers with my musical influences from the Balkans. I play the traditional one handed English tabor pipe; the accordion (the first one man band in itself); the knee cymbals; tambourine and drum, and vocals. My starting point was the tabor and pipe - the first example of a one man band in the UK, and I am currently building and working on a further elaboration of this.
