By the look on kevin and joes face when he walked in I guessed it was unexpected. He looked at me and abby, and said nice to meet you. I was looking down. I stood up and looked him in the eye. I didn't think it was possible but he was even better looking. He looked at me and his eyes got huge. "OMG!" he hugged me. "I can't believe you're here" "yeah. I live here now. I ran into kevin" "how have you been? You look great" "ive been good" I was fighting back tears. I was miserable without him. "thanks, how have you been?" "ive been okay, I really missed you." "ye..ah.........I missed you too" We stood there awkwardly, and finally abby broke the silence making up an excuse about school and we left. Before walking out the door I told joe to call me later and we could all hang out. Abby was my life saver. Joe called me later that night and we talked for hours. He told me that nick was dating miley again..they were on and off but nick wasn't happy with her and everyone knew it. he told me nick had tried to move on but he never really did. We decided to meet up the next day but first nick was begging joe to hand him the phone. So I was forced to talk to him.... "heyy!" "hey nick" "it was great to see you, I missed my best friend" "yeah" "well I really wanted to talk to you tomorrow, alone, if you don't mind" "uh sure I guess, that's fine" "alright. See ya later. Bye." "bye." It was so hard to talk to him. It was like before, when he came back from touring after that year, we were back to where we started. I had no idea what he wanted to talk to me about. The next day we all hung out laughing about old times. I tried to stay near joe and Kevin and avoid nick so it wasn't TOO awkward. They told me all the new stuff going on in their lives and abby and I told them about our new stuff. then nick pulled me aside and we walked to Times Square, we just talked about our lives and my school. He told me about their tours and all the places they saw. We sat on a bench and he looked me straight in the eye and then he grabbed my hand. "nick, don't" I pulled back my hand. "you have a girlfriend." "but..i don't.." "joe said that you and mile.." "we were..i broke up with her the other day..for good" "why?" "I was thinking about you the other day, all those feelings came back, I never stopped thinking about you, I was never in love with miley, and then yesterday when I saw you, I knew I had to get you back.. I talked to joe too, he told me what you said..i love you" "nick, you know I love you too, I always have..but.." "I cant live without you any longer...will you take me back" I just looked at him. In my head I was saying yes but nothing came out. This is what I had been waiting for but I didn't know what to do. After a deep breath I cleared my head and finally answered. "uh..well.i..uhm..ok..yes" "I noticed your ring, looks familiar" "yeah, well, you told me to wear it as long as I loved you" He just smiled and took my hand.
