Curious, I followed the noise. Joe. He was on the ground., throwing rocks and yelling. "Joe!" I opened my window. "Hey!" A cheesy smile was on his face. He started waving his hand like a maniac. "What are you doing here?!" I whispered yelled so my parents wouldn't wake up. "I was bored so I came to see you! Can I come in?" I hesitated to answer but I could turn down a Jonas. I rolled my eyes and nodded. I swore I heard a 'yes!' from him, but that's just me. Joe climbed the tree and jumped into my room. Crashing onto the floor. "Shh! My parents!" I pressed my index finger to my lips. "Sorry," He whispered as he brushed himself off. "We need to talk about the kiss." I asked. "Why?" "Why what?" "Why did we kiss? Do you like like me or something?" I asked. "Do you really want to know?" "Duh," I said. "Well..." He fiddled with his fingers. "I kind of do," He gave me a shy smile. My breath quickened. Joe likes me. Joe likes me. Joe freaking Jonas likes me. "And now how about you? Do you like me?" "Uh, well..." I was so unsure of the answer. I kind of do now but I don't know. He's my friend. As I was about to answer, I heard a tap on the window. Nick. Oh god. "What are you doing here?!" He was smiling but as Joe grabbed my hand, his smile turned upside down. I shook off Joe's tight grip on me. "What's HE doing here?" They both asked at the same time. "Why don't you ask each other? I have no clue either." I'm as clueless as a goldfish. "Nick," Joe hissed. "Joe," Nick mirrored. "Can you guys settle this somewhere else?" I rolled my eyes. It was getting harder by the second to keep them open. "We shall. A duel." (A.N. I know.. it's like pretty lame lol) Joe said. Wow Joe. "Can it be in the morning?" I whined. "Fine. 10 AM." Nick said. "By the pool." Joe added. "Alright! Just leave." I yelled. I was going to pass out any second now. I shoved Joe to the window. "Bye bye Joe." I pushed him out and he climbed onto the tree. "Bye Lex," He smiled that irresistible smile. (A.N. You know that smile? ♥♥ haha :) "Come on Nick," I pulled him inside. "HEY!" Joe yelled. He moved a lot so he fell off. "WHOA!" Joe yelled as he fell. Oh my gosh! "Joe?!" I asked. "I'm okay!" A thumbs up came out from under as he laid there, motionless. I laughed and the closed the windows and blinds. "Sorry 'bout that," I said. "It's fine. Now which cords are we going to learn today?" He teaches me guitar at night. When he comes back from tour or whatever that is. "I don't really know. Can we just catch up?" I asked. "Whatever floats your boat." He smiled. "You're so cheesy. I'll always remember that," We got a few more laughs from each other before I rested my head on his shoulder. "I'm tired Nick," He laid us down. "Me too." he yawned and I closed my eyes. Just for a second... Yeah, not. I woke up to the sun shining on my face. Nick was asleep besides me. "Nick!" I woke him up by hitting him lightly. "Ow! Thanks for the wake up call," He rubbed his arm. "Man up Nick," I laughed. "Great, I have a stupid duel today." Nick said while rubbing his eyes. "Why did you even agree? We're just friends and nothing more anyway. Joe just likes me." "So it is true! He does like you." "Yeah, I guess," I sighed. We went downstairs and ate breakfast together in the kitchen. Why do I feel my heart melting when he speaks? ---------------------- IDK what that means but w/e lol. & Joe's ok if your wondering lol. Is Alexa over Nick? ;) Blah Blah Blah. Marathon prob tomorrow.
