I wish elaborating upon the mundane was a marketable skill capable of generating income. Until then - to Live Journal, I resort! ♥ SUMMARY ♥ Situational symbolism, for the win! Also: total anonymity for the win, as well. Hence the total lack of names (even those catchy little pseudonyms I am ever so fond of) and sketchy exposition in general. The video said what needed to be said to the person who needed to hear it. That is all. For once, I am actually going to shut up and let my music video speak for itself. ♥ SONG ♥ Emo, Bubble Gum Pop Style Um - I mean, EMOTIONAL! Of course! The song is called EMOTIONAL! (It actually IS called Emotional, but if I had any say in the matter, I would have voted for EMOTIVE, as I find that term carries less negative connotations than its preceding relatives.) ♥ ARTIST ♥ As for somehow acquiring the gumption to use a song performed by Diana DeGarmo (the Idol Finalist who lost to Fantasia - I believe several key pieces of my soul died upon hearing the news) is a feat I am not even going to TRY and explain. I doubt they have created words EMOTIVE enough to suffice. I need to rectify this matter by accosting Webster's in the morning. I'll let you know how it goes. (Honestly? I love Diana - but she seemed to vanish upon the eve of the finale. Her album could be found taking up residency in the clearance bin before Wal-Mart had even finished stocking the shelves.) So I spit some blood, ranted and raved, and since I was, like, thirteen when all this happened, quickly moved on to find some other injustice I could rally about. (It took me a good five years to realize that your favorite singer not winning a reality show could be classified as anything other than: INJUSTICE!) I like to pretend I've matured. I haven't. But just go with it - for brevity's sake, if nothing else. ♥ FOOTAGE ♥ Kingdom Hearts I and II (With a little bit of Final Mix thrown in for good measure - mainly, a tear drop. (The former being ascertained from a hefty 11 GIG torrent provided by the lovely GOTEGENKS and his eagerness to share this newfound material with all who were (and still are) willing to sit and stare slack jawed at their computer screen for ten hours straight - I can not vouch for the rest of humanity, but I like to think I am sentient enough to attest to the quality and worth of sabotaging your hard drive to the point of a nuclear meltdown so laden with pyrotechnics even Axel would be put to shame.) Um. Where was I? Oh, right: I was going somewhere with this. While making this video, I found myself being forced to operate under a severe time crunch, and since .avi's have a tendency to make me feel suicidal regardless of contradictory medication, I opted to utilize the ever faithful .wmv files I have nestled away within the confines of my laptop - for they allow me the luxury of keeping my sanity. ANYBODY OUT THERE KNOW HOW TO FIX SUCH THINGS? Any .avi extension I have ever made a valiant attempt to edit seems to cause my computer to freeze into subzero temperatures. I'm trying to work with these clips for my 50 + Subber's Video, and the entire process was infuriating me to the point where I was shouting out obscenities I wasn't even aware were in my vocabulary to begin with. I needed a dictionary to tell me just which horrible vilification I had heaped upon my computer. Allegedly I know some dirty words in Latin. I was unaware of such things. Who knew? So, is there any way to use .avi's so you can have quality and function in tandem, or do I have to resort to conversion and make a bastard love child out of the two media extensions? This is America. Can't I sue SOMEBODY for emotional duress? No jury would convict me. I mean. Really. ♥ TIME TAKEN ♥ ... Less time than it took to write out this side bar, I can tell you that.
