Title: ELO - Sweet Talkin' Woman Sing Along View count: 214 Rating: 5.0 (4 ratings) Description: I made this recording in 1997 on the Roland VS-840 Digital Audio Workstation. I had completely forgotten about since then. I rediscovered a few months ago. I didn't think it sounded that great. Then I compared it the remastered version on the Out Of The Blue CD and thought to myself it doesn't sound has bad has I thought. I then went ahead a performed a restoration by expanding the dynamic range and widened the stereo sound field. I then remastered it for best sound quality. I was pleasantly surprised that the sound quality had turned from the dull compressed audio to a dynamically bright and clearer sounding than it was. Even the vocals I had recorded sounded better than I thought they were. I had sung the lead part and panned it to center and sang backing vocals and panned them left and right. I will be the first to admit I am not a professional singer. Recording by adding backing or lead vocals to existing songs was something I did as hobby. I did it so I could learn more about the recording process itself. I had given up singing and recording because I was suffering from tinnitus and my hearing would cut out while I was trying to sing. I have had my hearing checked and was told it's perfect and my ear drums were in perfect condition. My tinnitus doesn't bother me much now except in a loud movie theater. I hope you enjoy this version! PS: Please forgive me if I sound out of tune.
