Title: Dream Catch Me - Chapter 66 View count: 90 Rating: 5.0 (5 ratings) Description: Chapter 66 ----- Kevin's POV The look on her face when she opened her eyes was priceless. If it wouldn't have ruined the moment I totally would have pulled out my iPhone and have taken a picture. I can tell she is totally in shock right now. "Kevin.. I.. Uh.. I mean WOW!" I feel a smile creep onto my face as she fumbles for words. I guess she likes it. Just as I'm about to usher her to sit down at the candle-lit table on the beach like the perfect gentleman she turns around and the next thing I know she is in my arms. Before I have a chance to recover from my shock and hug back she has left my arms and run over to the table. "This is the most thoughtful, romantic thing that anyone has ever done for me!" Johanna announces excitedly as she picks up and smells the single red rose that was lying on her plate. "Well its what you deserve, dream girl," I say walking up to her and pulling out her chair. She blushes ever so slightly as she takes a seat. It is so cute. "This must have been so difficult to arrange," Johanna states as I sit down. "It's no trouble at all," I reply nonchalantly. "Oh right. For a minute there I forgot you were Mr. Rock Star," she says smiling. God I love that smile! "Well that's a good thing. Tonight I'm not Kevin Jonas, rock star. Tonight I'm just Kevin, the guy who is crazy about you." Gosh that was cheesy. Way to go Kev... "Well it's nice to meet you Kevin," Johanna remarks smartly as she offers her hand. I smile and take her hand. "The pleasure is all mine," I say coolly bringing her hand to my lips, briefly kissing it. Our eyes meet and in that moment we both realize how ridiculous were being and burst out laughing. "And here I thought Joe was the cheesy one." "Hey! I am nowhere near as bad as Joe," I exclaim trying to act offended. Apparently it didn't work so well. Johanna gives me a raised-brow look that tells me she sees through me. "Ok fine. It does tend to rub off when you are around him all the time though. You'll see." "Oh so does that mean you plan on keeping me around long enough to see?" she questions flirtatiously. I can't get anything past this girl. "Maybe..." "Good! "she states with a huge smile. Oh man what I wouldn't give to see that smile every day for, well, forever! Johanna's POV This has been the best date I've ever been on by far. Sure we exchanged some cheesiness near the beginning but it was all in good fun. Shortly after we arrived Big Rob appeared out of seemingly nowhere acting as our waiter. It took everything I had to hold back my laughter when I first saw him. Kevin had gotten him to dress up in a tuxedo with a bow tie and everything. It was quite hilarious. All throughout the four courses I found myself looking at the beautiful scenery and thinking wow. The beach was situated across the bay from downtown Vancouver. With the cityscape nestled at the base of the mountains on the left and the setting sun over the ocean on the right, it was enough to make someone want to just sit there in awe. The beautiful boy sitting across the table from me was definitely in competition for my attention though. The conversation has been flirty yet serious. We've both shared about our families, our hobbies and interests, and our hopes and dreams. In a matter of a few hours it felt as though Kevin knew more about me than any other guy. I just feel so comfortable talking to him. It's like I've known him for years not days. "Hey do you want to go for a walk and watch the sun set?" Kevin asks just as we finish dessert. "I'd love to!" We both get up and make our way down the beach to the ocean. I pause to take in the sunset. Just as I'm about to turn to face Kevin I feel his hand slip into mine. I look up to see his smiling face. I want to say something but no words come to mind so I just smile. I feel my cheeks start to flush so i quickly look away. The butterflies in my stomach start to jump again as we walk hand in hand. Kevin stops suddenly and brings me in front of him. "Johanna..." he starts. Something in his tone makes my heart race. I stare into his eyes readying myself for whatever comes next. ----- Not sure how I feel about this chapter... Anyways, I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for not un-subscribing well I had my writing hiatus. Hopefully, I won't let you down.
