It was just another day. No one noticing. No one caring. She clutched her books close to her chest. People shot her smirks as she passed them. Suddenly, her foot hit something hard, and she tripped. Falling. Down. Her elbows smacked the ground hard, her books scattering around the hallways. Taunting laughs and mockeries filled her head. She waited. But no one came to the rescue. She was helpless. And everyone knew it. They'd always known it. She felt sharp pains in her right elbow. She sat up on her knees, looking at the floor. She almost gasped when she saw the blood. She grasped her bleeding arm and ran from the hall, leaving her papers and textbooks lying helpless on the floor. ------------------♥------------------ She slowed her pace as she entered the nurse's office. A boy was standing behind the desk doing something, his back facing her. "Uhm, excuse me?" she said nervousely. He turned around slowly. "Oh. What." "Uhm.." She gestured toward her elbow. "I..hurt my arm." He narrowed his eyes at her elbow. "Lemme take a look." She sat in a chair across from him and he examined her. "Damn, what'd you do?" "I.." She laughed quietly. "It's stupid, really." He looked up at her face. He recognized her. He knew her. Selena Gomez. He joked about her all the time. "You're Selena. Right? Selena Gomez?" Her eyes widened. This was Zac Efron. Best friend of Nick Jonas, the guy she's had a crush on for ten years. And he knew her name. "Are..you okay?" He grimaced at the look she was giving off. She stuttered. "U-uh, yeah. Selena. And you're Zac." He frowned as he began cleaning her elbow with a baby wipe. "You know my name?" "I've known you for ten years." He shook his head. "Ten years?" "Isn't that what I just said?" She paused. "You know what? I got it from here." She took the white bandage off the nurse's desk and got up, walking out of the small room.
