I looked in the mirror at my tear stained face with mascara stains all over it. "Uhh." I said looking at myself. Suddenly my cell phone started ringing. "Cos' if you jump I will jump to, we will fall together." It sang. "Hello?" "Morning beautiful." I herd the sound of Nick's voice. "Oh hey Nick" "So whats going on with your Mom, she lightened up yet?" "I haven't spoke to her yet and I don't really plane on it." "C'mon you have to speak to her sooner or later." "Nick the womans keeping me prisoner basically, she's locked the door and is hiding the keys somewere. "Okay lets make a plan. Meet me down the street, climb out your window onto your tree house outside your bedroom window, climb down the ladder and jump in my car. Oh and don't forget to pack loads of stuff." "Nick, are we gonna' run away?" I asked kind of concerned. "Well its the only way we're gonna' get to be together Brooke." He explained to me. "Okay, lets do it." I said getting into it. "Great, meet me down the street in a half hour is that enough time?" "Yeah thats enough. Cya then" "Cya. Oh and Brooke, I love you" He declared. "I love you to." I replied. I hung up and quickley got dressed. I grabbed my rucksack from underneath my bed and started to fill it up. 20 minutes later I was done and ready to meet Nick, it was a half hour later and he should be waiting down the street. I grabbed a pen and peice of paper and wrote a note to my Mom to find. "Dear Mom, I know you told me not to be with Nick but I have to. I love him with all my heart and I have to do this. Please don't try and find me, although I know you will try. Im doing this for my benifit, Nick is not forcing me we are making this decision together. I love you Mom. Goodbye. I placed it on my side table and walked to my window. I grabbed my bag and opened the window, I stepped one leg onto my ledge and then another. I stepped onto the wooden plaque that had always been there and began to walk across. It made a slight funny noise and I stopped and noticed a crack in it. It began to split even more and I got worried. "Oh my God!" Brooke said. It cracked and snapped in half as Brooke tried to cross it, she fell on her way hitting a few branches. Everything went black. "Vmm Vmm" Brookes, phone vibrated in her pocket. She had a text message from Nick, it read. "Brooke were are you? Im just down the street, remember I love you." She layed there, lifeless. Thorns, splinters and all from the wood and branches were sticking into her, as she lay there. "What Is taking that girl so long?" Nick wondered. He hopped out of the car down to her house only to find the lifeless Brooke laying on her lawn bleeding. "Brooke?!" Nick said. "Oh my god, Brooke! What the hell happend! Someone help call 911!." He said as tears poured out of his eyes. The neighbor came outside and dialed 911 quickley, soon the ambulance was there to take her and Nick sat in the back with her. As he held her hands he softley sang to her. "Run baby run, don't ever look back. They'll tear us apart, if you give them the chance. Don't sell your heart, don't say we're not ment to be.
