Since my legs were only half done healing, I pushed myself around in a wheelchair. Joe and Kennedy still hadn't woken up. I wheeled myself to Joe's bed, and took his hand in mine. *Please Joe. I can't lose you, I need you to wake up.* I pleaded. *If you can hear me, I just wanted to let you know that no matter what happens to you, I will always love you. If you . . . pass on, I will never love again. I couldn't imagine anyone in the world taking your position in my heart.* I remained holding his hand for the next 5 hours straight. After that, I really wasn't expecting him to break my heart. *Who are you?* He asked simply, opening his eyes. *Why does it feel like I've been sleeping for forever?* *Joe, stop joking around.* I laughed. *I'm so happy you're awake!* *Where am I?!* He started panicking as he sat up in the hospital bed. *Joe . . .* *WHO'S JOE? WHO ARE YOU?* He yelled. Nurse Chaddin instantly ran into the room. *Oh, good; Joe's awake. But what's going on? Why the yelling?* She asked, walking towards us. *Am I in a hospital?* Joe questioned. *Oh, this can't be good.* Nurse Chaddin said. She paged in a few doctors, and kicked me out of the room. I had no clue what was going on; but I didn't like it. Joe was acting as if he didn't know anything. One hour later, and I was called back in. *Demi . . .* Nurse Chaddin started, glancing at me. Joe was sitting on his bed, looking around the room. *What's wrong with him?* I asked. *Joe has lost his memory. Completely.* She said quietly. *WHAT?!* I shrieked. *Oh, God, Oh, no . . . this can't really be happening.* *I'm sorry.* She sighed. *The tests have proven it.* *Those tests have proved NOTHING.* I growled. *But-* *What if the tests are wrong?* I held back tears.
