Title: Dollar Cove Dive 1 View count: 1524 Rating: 4.25 (4 ratings) Description: We were involved with an archaeology project at Dollar Cove on the Lizard in Cornwall. We were asked to assist Colin Godwin in looking for a large amount of silver 'Pillar Dollars' commonly known as 'Pieces of Eight'. There were two seperate three day projects, I took my video camera along both times and used it on around half of the dives. The BBC also became interested in the project and used some of my footage in their 'Inside Out' programs. They used different footage for two different programs, one was shown on the south west, the other by the west episode. This footage is mainly from the first dive with the metal detector looking to find what the magnetometer had picked up.
