Marcus and Thomas learn of this battle and both want to help their favorite boxer train. Commander Sampson has come to possess a green needle that came from a Digimon. The needle was found to be somehow connected to the boxer. The commander set Marcus, Thomas, and Yoshino to investigate. Thomas soon begins to train with his idol while Marcus takes a different approach and begins to box at his ring. Yoshino goes to Tsubasa's house and interviews his wife and daughter. The night before the big match, Thomas follows the boxer's opponent as he was out on a jog. All of a sudden, hundreds of green needles fly towards the opponent. Gaomon knocks the needles out of the way and the Digimon they had been looking for was revealed- Togemon! The boxer's daughter jumps from Togemon's back as the plot seems to come together- the boxer's daughter was still upset from the dirty fight her father's opponent had won and Togemon came to the real world to help eliminate his opponent. Gaomon challenges Togemon to a boxing match and after losing the match, Togemon grows many times its size. Gaomon Digivolves and defeats Togemon.
