Title: Diana's fun fibro chat- "I don't believe you have fibromyalgia." "Thank you." View count: 3059 Rating: 5.0 (8 ratings) Description: Hi. I'm Diana. I'm 38, and I have fibromyalgia. Folks say they find me "inspiring." Someone yesterday told me "I don't believe you have fibromyalgia." I guess I must be doing something right. I do have some crummy days with fibromyalgia, just like everyone else, but I have a lot of good days, too. I keep a written blog, (www.surfercouple.com), and a video blog, here on YouTube. I don't sell anything. My goal is simply to share information with other people who have fibromyalgia. I had symptoms of fibromyalgia all my life, but didn't know what the disease was, or what I had. (And, neither did the doctors, who diagnosed me with anything, and everything, EXCEPT for the correct diagnosis.) My fibromyalgia symptoms came on in a MAJOR way during my pregnancy with my son. Never felt so wretched in my life, except it wasn't normal pregnancy symptoms. Just horrid body aches and fatigue, and pain in my muscles. My ob-gyn told me I was "pyscho-somatic." (It was "all in my head.") After the birth of my son, it got even worse. Anyway, I won't bore you with the whole tale here, but suffice it to say, two years and about 50 doctors visits later, I finally figured out ON MY OWN that I had fibromyalgia. (Thanks doc!) (Then, went to a rheumatologist to be "offiicially diagnosed" because you have to be "officially diagnosed" in order to "officially" have fibromyalgia.) I tried all the normal treatments to fibromyalgia, and if you're at my website, you probably have discovered the same thing I did. They don't work. They'll suck your check book dry. They'll make Eli Lilly and Pfizer stockholders very happy. They'll make you sick, woozy and stoned with side effects. But, they won't help your fibromyalgia. Not in the long-term. So, I started networking online with other people who had fibromyalgia. And, it was then that I found out about the Guai Protocol. It was so controversial that I had to give it a try. I won't try to explain the Guai Protocol here, as there is plenty of information all over the Internet about it, as well on the Guai Support group, and I have a set of FAQs on my own website. So, the info is there if you want it. You can Wikipedia it, too. But, I do find it very funny that people now don't believe that I have fibromyalgia. Well, hell's bells. I guess I found the right approach to treating this hellish disease after all, eh? Take that Eli Lilly and Pfizer! Sorry shareholders! You'll have to finance your Mercedes Benz, and Beamers off some other poor, ill person. Tags: fibromyalgia, guai, protocol, Author: dianacwolf |
