Taylor: "Why are you so happy?" I asked him, naturally very curious Nick: "I just got myself a date with an angel" He told me, obviously mesmerized by Selenas charm I sighed and left the apartment infuriated. Not at Nick or at Selena, but at myself for making the biggest mistake of my life. I got in my motorcycle and drove away. I needed to get away from Miami. I decided to go far up North, to North Carolina to be exact. The hometown where I grew up... =============================================== I fell asleep on the couch and woke up at around 1 a.m. I checked in my brothers bedroom to see if he was there, but no such luck. I heard loud music coming from across the street. I noticed that the loud banging came from the local nightclub. I decided to get changed and go clubbing. I entered the bar with success and made my way to the bartender. A little flirting and a push-up bra can make you go far in life. I ordered a pina colada and looked over the crowd. Most of them were about my age, or slightly older. I chugged my drink and ordered another one. I had a feeling that tonight would be a long night... =============================== The night reached its course and you could see the sun rise up to start the day. I drank up my Starbucks and continued to drive. Ive been driving for 12 hours straight and I didnt have the intention to stop. I passed state by state, getting closer to my hometown. I got a few calls from my brother, but ignored every one of them. I didnt want to talk to anyone at the moment. I just needed to clear my head. =============================================== I woke up with a horrible headache. I was definitely hung over, no doubt about that. I got out of bed and checked up on Ryan. As predicted, he never came home last night. I rolled my eyes and ate my breakfast. Just then, I got a knock on my door. I walked up to find Nick in my doorway, looking quite nervous. Nick: "Hey, sorry to disturb, but did you talk with my brother last night?" He asked me concerned Selena:"No, sorry Nick. But dont worry. Im sure Taylor is safe" I reassured him Nick: "Yeah, youre probably right..." He gave me a soft smile Selena: "You... wanna come in?" I offered him Nick: "I dont want to intrude..." He told me politely I smiled and insisted. He accepted and entered the apartment. I couldnt help but feel some sort of connection with Nick. Like I could trust him and confide to him. Selena:" Nick, before we go on our date, I think you should know something" I said to him, dead serious He sat on the end of the bed and smiled Nick: "Go on.. I wont judge." He told me, reassuring me that I could tell him anything I sighed and took a deep breath. I laid down on my bed. Selena: "Ok... As you probably know, Taylor is having a baby with Ms. Cyrus. What we probably didnt tell you was that, he broke my heart. He was my boyfriend and well, we were in love. Then, one morning, Cyrus announced that she was having a baby with your brother. I couldnt forgive him and probably never will. He crushed my heart and left me heartbroken--- "I stopped talking and just started crying. Nick took me in his arms and hugged me, letting me cry on his shirt. I still had this sensitive nerve and I hit it hard when I started talking about him. Truth was, I wasnt over him. He broke my heart, but I still couldnt get over that fact. I was still in love with this guy. As many times as he hurts me, I will still love him. That was undeniable. Nick:"So Im guessing youre not officially over him?" He asked me while stroking my hair. I simply shook my head, not wanting to see the disappointed face Nick had. Selena:"Im so sorry... " I apologized Nick: "Hey, what can you do?! No problem Selena. Just know I was always be there for you." He told me softly I rose up and kissed his cheek. I smiled and thanked him.
