I bought the "Stripped" album in 2002 when it was just out & "Dirty" had been the only single. I always hoped that this track would be one of the singles chosen from the album & was disappointed when the album got older & it became obvious that "Cruz" would never be a single. I have long considered this song to be an under-rated gem that I think should have taken the place of "Can't Hold Us Down" as a single. An opinion I think that has borne fruit by the omission of "Can't Hold Us Down" from "Keeps Gettin' Better - A Decade of hits".
