Narcotic prison is a place where effective outreach and contact with this otherwise hard to reach population can be possible. With a mixed group of HIV+ and HIV- inmates this theatre project has tackled the stigma attached to the condition of HIV/AIDS and increased the knowledge of transmission risks, reducing the barriere for individuals to be tested or to be open for positive management and prevention effort. HIV/AIDS not only affects the inmates but also their friends and family in the community. This theatre has been made by and for the inmates of Banceuy Narcotic Prison, faciliated by Linda Eijssen.
