"Are we going to grandmas house?" "Sure Nira...anywhere you want." "Yay!" "Mommy I'm sleepy.are we almost there?" "Sorry hon., but were almost there. Why dont you go to sleep? You'll wake up in grandma's house.I promise." "Ok I love you mommy." "I love you too baby." "I'm sorry Mrs. Grano, but she didnt make it.We're still unsure of Nira, but we believe she'll make it." "No wonder after that terrible accident Im surprised you made it through alive, but Im glad you did, child." "Gram-gram,what are you talking about? Can I see mommy now please? Why are you crying?" "Oh kiddoII wish I could tell you, but...oh you poor thing!" "Grandma please stop!if you cry I will cry. I just wanna see mommy it's not like I'm gonna die or anythingoh why does everything hurt so much?" "D-dont y-you r-remember s-sweetie?" "Ow! Remember what? All I remember was saying goodnight to mommy in the car, and hearing I love you and her promise that when I wake up I would be in your house, but I'm here in the hospital in a bed with all this stuff sticking to me. Why?" "Oh kiddo...I'Il tell you in the mourning. Get some sleep ok?" "But I wanna see mommy!" "N-not n-now baby m-mommys n-not f-feeling well. Well talk later now after you get better. Good night kiddo." "Ok Grammy. Love ya.good night." Nira woke up with a startled scream. She sat up quickly, and covered her mouth. Loud footsteps came near her door with the bright light on the other side. She held her breath, and quietly wiped her tears in case he came in. Silence was on both sides, and many minutes have passed. Finally, the heavy footsteps disappeared, and so did the yellow light. She sighed, and fell back in bed. She picked up her pillow and screamed into it. She turned her head slightly to face her opened window. She thought she heard a voice, but assumed it was just her imagination. She turned around to face her wall, ready to sleep, but she heard the voice again. It was hard to make out since it sounded as barely as a whisper, but she was sure it was real.
