First off, Erin came back with some crazy news... "Hey Ashley" she said walking up to me. "Erin! Where have you been?" "Places... listen, I have to talk to you about something..." "Sure, whats up?" I said closing my locker. "My mom got a new job." "Thats awesome!" I said. Her mom had been looking for a job for months now. "Thats not it." She said. Totally mono tone. I looked at her confused. "What do you mean?" "My mom got a new job in L.A." she said slowly looking up at me. I felt my face drop. "What?" "Her new job is moving us to L.A." I didnt know what to say. My best friend just told me shes moving over 1,000 miles away from me. "When are you moving?" "A month." "So in May? But thats a month before graduation!" "I know, but my mom wont change it. Shes so dead set on this job. I'm sorry Ashley." "Its fine. I'll talk to you later." I said walking to my class. Then the thing with Nick and Larissa... On Wednesday I walked up to my locker and looked over and Nick and Larissa. They were talking alone, and it looked some what serious. I decided to spy so I stood by the wall near them and pretended to be getting something out of my bag. I glanced up and saw Nick reach for Larissas hands and said something that made her face lite up. She hugged him then pulled away and kissed him. Right in the middle of the hallway. I found out later that he had asked her to be his girlfriend My life was slowly falling apart. On Friday I came home and turned on my T.V. Someone knocked on my door. I got up and saw Kevin standing outside. I unlocked the door and opened it. "Kevin?" "Hey Ash... I heard about everything." "Everything?" "Everything. Can I come in?" I nodded and he walked in and sat on the couch. "So I heard from Joe whos a little out of the loop. Care to tell me more of the details?" I took a deep breath and looked at him. "You wanna know everything?" He simply nodded. "Well I walked in on Nick and Larissa-" "No before that." I looked at him confused. "When Joe walked in on you and Nick... more importantly what you and Nick were doing." Kevin looked pissed. He never got this mad. I looked down. "Well me and Nick were upstairs and things got a little out of hand..." "A little?" "Ok, a lot Kevin. I'm sorry." I said, totally flipping out on him. I just couldn't take all of this right now. "We had sex, and I'm not gonna lie, I liked it. I'm not ashamed of it. I loved him at the time... then he cheated on me with the same girl he did last time! Do you know what its like to feel like this? Like shit because someone that you thought loved you broke your heart TWICE!" I screamed, nearly going into hysterics. I've never felt like this. Kevin got off the couch and I figured he was going to yell at me and make me hate myself but instead, he hugged me. I started to cry into his chest. "I'm sorry Ashley... hey, look at me." He said tilting my head up towards his face. "No matter what Nick or Joe do, I'm always going to be here for you ok?" I nodded and hugged him back for the longest time. Something about the way he said it just told me that he meant it. And that he would be there no matter what. I don't know when the next one will be, but I know the next one is skipping a lot ha.
