Preparation took place in Vinkhuizen Sporthal in Groningen city. Attended by about 25 people, this weekly activity never lacked of Indonesians practising and focusing to one aim, winning GroensCup 2009. Men and women, even children, believe this year is the perfect timing to bring back the good old days of having Groens Cup in their hands. It has been years we missed the presence of our prominent cup, which recently held by Amsterdamers and previously by Rotterdamers. Groens Cup 2009, the 8th annual sport event held by PPI Groningen , will kick off again on May 10th 2009 and swarmed with flocks of Indonesians from cities throughout the Netherlands and possibly contingents from other European countries.
