Title: BROKEN HOME - ( incl Dicken fr Mr Big ) - Stop The Music - A Movie By Falke58 View count: 126 Rating: 5.0 (1 ratings) Description: Again time for my friend Jeff or Dicken. This song is taken from the second album of BROKEN HOME. The band Jeff make up together with Pete Crowther after the split of Mr Big. The album "Life" was released on Mercury Records in 1982. Produced by Greg Walsh. Then re-released again in 2004 and also for the first time avaible in UK. Record company this time was Angel Air. As I told you before Dicken is now working on new material and hopefully we have a result of that in 2010. In february 2009 there was a sucessful single out "Baby Comes Around", here on Y.T more than 35.000 has seen that video. In the coming weeks I started to prepare a total new video of a brand new song from him. It is something I looking forwad too. Here´s the second part of the story of DICKEN. THE DICKEN STORY PART TWO -When I was nine year I got my first acustic guitar as a Christmas present. I remember the excitement I felt getting it out of the cardboard box. There was one for me and one for my younger brother Dave. I took a good look at both of them before deciding which one I would have. But being lefthanded I was real upset when I noticed the strings on both of them were the wrong way round ( for me anyway). I had to learn to play right-handed. That took awhile, getting my right hand to do what my left hand wanted to do. I had to get my fingers strong enough to push the strings down. Eventually I managed to play the melody to "Hand down your head Tom Dooley" on one string and I remember taking my guitar to school and playing it to all my friends. I went on from there, real slow, but I practiced for hours every day. I loved to sing too. Sang in the school choir, in the bathtub. Anywhere. I loved all the old hymns we sang at school. A few years later, I got into The Shadows as well, Hank Marvin, I liked him. I liked Buddy Holly´s music too. I wanted to play that guitar so bad, so could be like them. I wanted an electric guitar really but when Dad left us in 1960 we got so poor. Mum couldn´t afford to buy food let alone a luxury like that. I had to wait till I left school before I could get my first electric guitar on the never never from a catalouge. The third part of this story will be in my next video with music from DICKEN; BROKEN HOME or MR BIG. So time for a Dicken song again, Stop The Music, now performed by his band from the eighties, BROKEN HOME.
