This upload is around 11 months since my last AMV. As you can probably tell, I now have a wonderful new computer to work with and i've spent a good week or so cooking this up. Okay, so maybe it isnt all that great but do remember I havent done this in a veeery long time so i'm quite rusty indeed. xD Firstly let me just say thank you to everyone who didn't unsubscribe from me in a fit of rage because i havent uploaded in a while, and thank you to everyone who has subscribed to me in the past year despite my hiatus. I REALLY appreciate it and I hope what I can share with you will please your eyes and/or ears. Also thank you to everyone who didn't forget me, those of you who left me supportive comments and believed me when i said i'd be back. =D This was something of a practice video to get myself used to editing again, and its such a wonderful, wonderful song to listen to. However, I underestimated how difficult it would be to use in an AMV, theres about 3 different sounds working at the same time; the guitar, the soft vocal and the harsh vocal which made this INCREDIBLY hard to match scenes, i kinda had to guess what to use and where because i didnt want to overpower the softer vocals with scenes intended to work with the harsher vocals, whilst relying primarily on the guitar for the timing but theres also a few sounds to deal with like the heart beat. I'm not sure how good a job i did on that but you know what? Life goes on. I'll have plenty of time to make more videos and get back in to the swing of things. I didn't wanna overload this (with the exception of that mind blowing guitar intro and outro), I know these days its popular to make AMVs by throwing in all the fight scenes, a few pretty face shots then masking the SHIT out of it but I don't really like choking the story out of the videos so I left a nice portion of simple footage. The majority of effects are really just colourations and lights, because as im sure you all know by now, thats how i roll. Bleach is an ugly anime, bar the OPs/ENDs and a few important episodes, it lacks the 3 dimensional technology and advanced camera movement that most modern anime incorporates. You can't just add blank footage and make it feel like youre seeing it for the first time, you have to WORK this footage to make her shine but its always hard to know what to work and what to leave. xD Nothing too deep behind this video in all honesty. A nice intro summarizing some of the more intense moments in Bleach followed by a simple canon timeline. It focuses on a few key elements, seriously id have loved to put more in this but there just wasnt room. The biggest influences are Ichigo and Orihime but I wanted to give some time to Rukia and Aizen too, the ending has a nice moment for Ulquiorra. Hope you all enjoy.
