They make love and Bill goes to get ice, opening the door to Beth. He calls her "mom" and they both joke and decide that he should never call her that again. Beth tells Lizzie that she has something to show her but suggests that lizzie see it before Bill does. They leave. Bill goes to work and meets up with Matt. They talk about a property Bill wanted to buy for him and Lizzie. Bill is sad when he finds out that the fixer-upper has already been purchased. He meets with Lizzie in the gazebo. They are enterupted by Shayne and Dinah who announce that they are getting married they day after tomorrow. Lizzie then shows Bill the house that Phillip bought for them. Bill exclaimes that he knows and loves this house but then tells Lizzie that it was already bought and the owners are not interested in letting it go. Lizzie agrees that the owners will not be selling this house. She then explains to a confused Bill that they are the new owners and her dad bought this house for them as a wedding present. They are both extatic and go into the house together. The house needs some work but they both agree that they will move in, fix it and make it beautiful.
