It was a take off on the 1960's - 1970's Bill Riley Morning kids TV show aired M-F on TV-8 in Des Moines, Iowa. Bill Riley had a young school girl as his guest-co host, aired cartoons like Felix the cat and Gumby. And often had girl scouts and boy scouts as guest that he gave prizes on air to. This home movie was a skit making fun of the show. Entered in a high school 8mm movie contest. Sound was played, out of sync usually, on a tape recorder while the movie played. No matter how hard we tried, the sound was always off sync. This film did not win but was a favorite of the class. Bill Riley himself watched the film and thought it was "cute".
