They were defeated on a 66-32 vote. =Both Obama and John McCain agree that Iran's missile tests call for new pressure on that country ... But they're split on how to handle the situation.Obama stressed direct diplomacy ... McCain focused on tougher sanctions.=The AFL-CIO plans to begin airing a new ad in six presidential battleground states. The ad will feature a Vietnam veteran criticizing McCain's position on Iraq.
