To give you the idea of how to work out the little bits.. start on the Am (im asuming you know the fingerpicking leading up till you do the change) which is: before you change to the C chord you pluck the 3 string, this is 2nd fret (while on in the Am) pluck it once then lift off your ring finger, pluck that string again, then do the same thing with the middle finger on the 4th string then you move into the C chord then when on C chord, coming into the next hammer-on, when plucking 3rd string hammer on 3rd string 2nd fret move to 4th string hammer-on, basicly the same as the first pattern but its once rather than twice.. verse is: C chord (the 1st finger never leaves the 2nd string on the 1st fret) hammer-on 3rd string 2nd fret... then, change ring finger finger to top 6th string, 3rd fret, hammer-on 3rd string 2nd fret... then, change middle finger to 3rd string on 2nd fret, and ring finger on 4th string 3rd fret..while in this position, hammer-on 3rd string 2nd fret... then its back to the C chord again..thats the verse although you may need to learn the finger picking in-between bits, im giving you the basics to get you started, hope this helps.. cheers zac Tags: all, at, once, jack, johnson, by, zac, warren, live, version, cole, clark, fat, lady, guitar, Author: JackJohnsonGuitarist |
