UPDATE: Jamie Heward was released from Sibley Memorial Hospital with a concussion and returned to Tampa Bay. It was there when he realized that it was Ovechkin who made the hit. Heward called Ovechkin "one of the cleanest players in the NHL." Having played with Ovechkin for two years, Heward agreed that the hit was an accident.
