Mary: Jessy! Jessy: *stops and goes sitting on the sidewalk* I told you, i want to be alone! Mary: *sits next to her* Nobody wants to be alone *hugs her* Jessy: Oh Mary *starts crying* Mary: It's okay, Ssht, it's okay. Jessy: *trough her tears* How- could- he- do- that -to- me? Mary: Y'know, maybe it was Becky. Jessy: What? What do you mean? Mary: Look, Becky is kinda obsessed with Justin. Maybe she set the whole thing up. Jessy: Becky would never do that. She used to be my best friend! Mary: You don't know Becky. Jessy: It's still no excuse. He promissed me that he would never hang out with her again. Mary: You know how sneaky Becky can be. Jessy: Yeah, but still. I can't handle it. It's over. Mary: *sigh* You're gonna regret that, girl. Jessy: Maybe, but it's just to much. I'm gonna tell him. Mary: Are you absolutley sure? Jessy: Yes. It's over. Mary: Should i come with you? Jessy: No. I have to do this alone. *at lunchtime* Katy: Justin. Jessy's comming. Justin: What? Where? *turns around and Jessy stand right behind him* Jessy! Jessy: Can i talk to you for a second? Justin: *gets up immediatly* Sure! Jessy: In private. Justin: Okay, c'mon. *they walk to some place alone* Justin: Jessy, i... Jessy: Save it Justin and listen. I don't care what happened and how it happened. The point is, you broke your promise. And i don't care how bad you feel 'bout that, it's to late now. Justin: What do you mean? You're not... Jessy: Yes Justin. It's over. I don't wanna be with someone who's not able to keep a simple promise. Justin: Jessy, no! You can't do that! I...I love you *gets tears in his eyes* Jessy: Don't. *also gets tears in her eyes* It's hard enough without you begging. That also means i'm not longer a member of the group. Justin: What? Jessy, i know you hate me but the group has nothing to do with it! You can't let the girls down. Jessy: I'm sorry. I gotta go now. It's better for all of us. Bye Justin. *walks away* Justin: But... Jessy! Wait! *sigh* wait... *four days later* Mary: Jessy! Jessy: Yes? Mary: Are you comming to Monstreal tonight? Jessy: I don't think so. Mary: C'mon Jessy! Jessy: It's better for everyone i just stay home. You'll do great! Mary: Our routine is not half as good as when you were still on. Jessy: I'm sure you guys will do a great job. I gotta go now. Bye! Mary: *sigh* Bye. *that night* Jessy's mom: Aren't you supose to go to that dancing event? Jessy: I'm not going. Jessy's mom: Honey, that boy loves you. You have to face your troubles, not run away from them. Jessy: Mom... Jessy's mom: *sigh* Jessy Maria Thomson, listen to me. If you're not doin' it for the boy, then do it for yourself. You're a great dancer and everyone needs to see that! Jessy: I don't know... Jessy's mom: But i do. I used to dance in a group when i was younger. Jessy: Really? Jessy's mom: Yes. And there was a competition just like Monstreal. The winner had the chance to become a profesional. But i never showed up. Jessy: Why not?? Jessy's mom: We had to wear shorts and i had the ugliest legs ever. So i was ashamed of myself. They didn't win and they blamed me. I never forgived myself. Jessy: And what has that to do with me? Jessy's mom: I don't know... everything? Jessy: That didn't make sence. Jessy's mom: The point is, dancing was my life. I dreamed of a profesional career for my whole life. I had the chance but i didn't take it. Now you have the chance so you gotta fight for it. I don't want you to end up like me. Jessy: Mom! there's nothing wrong with the way you are! Jessy's mom: I see alot of me in you. Please Jessy, don't make the same mistake. Jessy: *sigh* Maybe your right. But it doesn't matter, i'm to late. Jessy's mom: *smiles and gets up* Maybe not.
