Title: 911 Tribute, Dust In The Wind View count: 1343 Rating: 3.6666667 (6 ratings) Description: My little tribute amongst a million other tributes for the victims of September 11th 2001. It sounds like a cliche I know, but we should never forgit. We don't need vengeance, but justice, and for the most part we have achieved it. I was for our troops going over there and bringing the ones involved to justice, but now it's time to come home, but unfortunately it can't be done over night. Our government could have carpet bombed the place, or even nuked it, but they tried to win a battle by playing by the rules, but yet too many still aren't happy. Bill Clinton had warnings, but was too distracted with white water, and Bush inherited the problem and the blame. While I have my gripes about Bush, I refuse to demonize the guy just because he's a Republican or because it's the trendy thing to do. Bush bashing over the effort against terrorism is a ridiculous trend that undermines and distracts from the real issues, like his pro amesty platform, and the fact that he tried to cut federal grants funds for college even after he signed to increase them. Which one of those issues are very popular with liberal Democrats. Will Obama bring the troops home ? Maybe, maybe not. On one hand he said he wants to bring them home almost over night, which is dangerous. On the other hand, he swore his loyalty to Israel, and promised to back them to the end. Also, is anyone really willing to give up all that oil ? I know many wealthy liberals who aren't because they still love their big suv's and vans. Besides, libs don't want to tap into more of our own resources. Sure, alternative fuels can help, but non of them are a realistic replacement right now. To the conpiracy nuts, there is overwhelming evidence to support the terrorist attacks, which disputes the crazy conspiracy theories, many of which contradict one another. So while it might seem fashionable and hip to play the retro hippy role, it doesn't belong in the real world or politics, and those alterna freaks from the 90's allowed their trend to slip into politics, and thus Clinton was elected twice thus Bush inherited a problem. Then ironically these grungeheads blamed him, and he had only been in office a short time. Yes, I am blaming the libs, because they are at fault, though nobody wants to admit it, or they are too full of themselves to see it. To demonize Republicans by default or because you want to feel cool and rebellious is both immature and ignorant, and the real cliche. These stupid hippy wannabes even started hollering before the towers even collapsed, and yes, overwhelming scientific evidence proves that they could have fallen do to the heat and impact. After all, they were not traditional structures, and had their asbestos removed during construction because it was banned during that time, and the fire proofing was really never up to standards in those towers. Do some real research instead repeating propaganda by extremist groups and fat fucks like micheal moore, which are the types to use the victims for propaganda, and not because they really give a shit. I'm not a "redneck", don't live in a trailer(which shouldn't matter to someone if they aren't a snob), have attended college, and understand that we need to question the government sometimes, and not because it's something you should do by default, or point the finger at the wrong "issues" because they seem like "cool" antiestablishment "issues". It's a shame that libs want to demonize anyone who disagrees with them to try to discredit the truth, and it generalizes people, and has become an ignorant cliche. I find it ironic that liberals will bash fascism and Christianity, but defend islamic extremist. I can only figure that it's because they have brown skin, and that makes them a "sympathetic" group by default in the eyes of the wannabe hippies, which are ruining this country. That is just fucking silly. Again, never forget the victims, and support our troops also. Tags: 911, kevin, cosgrove, edna, cintron, kansas, dust, in, the, wind, Author: BitterCycle |
