This is at Candia Woods in Candia, NH. Mack has a language disability that makes it difficult for him to understand and use language. It's kind of like a form of deafness, but it's in the way the brain processes language and does not really involve the ears. He also has some other health issues and is on a special diet. Despite his disability, he is doing very well in school with the help of his dedicated teachers and speech therapist. Mack sometimes feels sad and says that his "brain is broken", but when he plays golf, he feels a sense of accomplishment. The kid loves golf! That's all he wants to do. My husband and I are going to everything we can to help Mack stay involved with golf - for as long as he wants to of course. (We are not pushy parents! We don't even play golf! Yet.) The joy he gets out of it makes us feel so good, and we're so proud of him! Mack hopes to meet Tiger Woods someday.
