A friend - Tamala Atlas - told me of a bad car crash that happened on one of the Linden roads. I went to look, and sure enough, a young female avatar was well and truly trapped underneath the wreckage of her car. But unlike in Real Life, the avatar was actually having a good time on another sim, and this was just a ghosted remnant. Effectively, she was in two places at once; dead in a car on the road, and dancing in a club elsewhere! How bizarre. *****Sometimes, on being quit from the system because of a crash or failed teleport, the servers hold some information back, and a ghost remains inworld. To clear a ghost, just return to where your ghost is (if you know the location). If you want to see your own ghost and know where it is, then go and look as an alt. If you are unable to log into Second Life, whether you know you have a ghost or not, please go to http://www.secondlife.com/support and submit a ticket.
