Homeless Valedictorian credits deceased mom for his success
Griffin Furlong was named Valedictorian of his high school, despite being in and out of homeless shelters with his family after losing his mother to cancer. Furlong was managed to earn a 4.65 GPA and was accepted to Florida State University. NBC’s Rehema Ellis reports.
