>> jean tor natori is here.

>> just going to get a mani/pedi with your daughter, i love that.

>> people are taking bigger trips with moms these days as we approach mother's day. my first destination is montreal. in quebec. i love these canadian cities for a quick getaway with a european flair, very adventurous. i would start in the city, plan out your shopping, there is st. catherine street , eaten street mall, a lot of french inspired fashion here and old montreal, stroll the cobblestone streets with the old world architecture and bistros and galleries. if you want to do something outside the city, there is the mountains and 200 kilometer bike trail that is easy riding but goes through the town, a great option. it is beautiful . the hotel omni monte royal in the city, $143 a night in may on orbitz. a great brand. you're getting good amenities.

>> i love this next one. nashville, tennessee. if you like music --

>> i love it for a mother/daughter trip. so many new things to experience together there. maybe mom will let her hair down to some country music . search before you go. it is a must do. get tickets for the grand ole op opry. you'll see carrie underwood to keith urban there these days but get them in advance. if you're not into muck or want to do something different, there is high end visual arts exhibits and shopping. there is up and coming neighborhoods. east nashville outside the city with boutiques. get your first pair of cowboy boots there.

>> such a great city. where should you stay?

>> i have a great budget pick. the hotel preston for $115 on orbitz. a neat hotel with fun amenities.

>> sanobar, florida.

>> unbelievably beautiful .

>> they call it the american riviera for good reason. this is where you go to relax and rejuvenate. book it in advance. they boast one spa per square mile . you want to go all in, go to the spa at the biltmore. a beautiful proper. they have all these personalized spa treatments, afternoon tea overlooking the ocean. what i love about santa barbara is all the boutique properties they have there. make sure you do a small boutique property, go on a site like orbitz and look at the user reviews. get a good one that has what you want. i love the montecito inn. a beautiful little property. inland spa services for just over $155 a night in may.

>> what about oregon?

>> oregon has beautiful -- they have a beautiful -- the wilamet valley, their wine region . over 250 wineries. it is beautiful . so not only can you do it by bike or car, but you cannot just taste the wines and sample, there is little historic towns to drive through, covered bridges , farmers markets and easy day trip to portland as well. head into portland, sample from their food carts, tax free shopping, great experience.

>> a couple of seconds. vermont for the mother/son.

>> want something outdoorsy, maybe with your son, burlington, vermont, a college town , it still has some urban things you like, the outdoor cafes. but you can do the champlain islands by bike, rent a bike. you can hike in the adirondacks and hotel property i love here, the essex resort and spa, set on 18 acres.

>> thank you so much.

>> tomorrow, how to become a happy wife in 31 days.

>> go take the test.
