Day care hit-and-run suspect in custody

The suspect wanted in connection with Wednesday’s deadly crash at a central Florida day care center is in custody. Police say he turned himself in Thursday and is being held on $100,000 bond.

>>> the suspect wanted in yesterday's hit-and-run crash at a daycare center is in custody. 28-year-old robert korchado turned himself in thursday afternoon. he's being held on $100,000 bond. police say he hit another vehicle with his suv, which then sent it crashing into the daycare center . the crash killed a 4-year-old girl and injured 11 children. 4-year-old lily quinntes was waiting for a snack at the time. her mother describes her as beautiful, passionate and innocent.

>>> some new details this morning following that dramatic rescue of a kidnapping victim in atlanta. federal authorities are now saying a prison inmate used a smuggled mobile phone to direct the kidnappers. the victim, frank arthur jansen, is the father of a prosecutor who helped put that inmate away. authorities said the kidnappers took a picture of jansen tied up in a chair and sent it to his wife and sent her a text message saying we will send mr. janssen back to you in six boxes if she went to police. five people were arrested following a late night raid wednesday by the fbi's elite hostage rescue team .
