No answers at Flight 370 press conference

Journalists continue to wait for answers in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur on the fate of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. Investigators still had no answers at a press conference on Monday. NBC’s Keir Simmons reports.

>> reporter: good morning, savannah. relatives are waiting for news in the hotel behind me of loved ones who have simply vanished. their aircraft disappeared. the latest news is that sightings, possible sightings of debris and even a life raft have turned out to be false on closer inspection. but they are closely studying an oil slick seen off the coast of vietnam to see if that can offer any help as to what happened. it is tense. journalists every few hours are ushered into a room in a building behind me. told by officials, again, they consider it still a mystery. meanwhile, off the coast, vessels and aircraft from around the world, including from the seventh fleet are searching for clues they still can't find, savannah.
