Plant explosion in Nebraska leaves several dead

Today investigators are heading back to the scene to determine what caused a plant explosion in Omaha that has caused at least two fatalities and left almost a dozen injured. NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez reports.

>> reporter: willie, good morning. in addition to the two people killed, ten others were hospitalized, four of them critically hurt, and dozens more barely managed to escape what authorities are calling an industrial accident . today, investigators are heading back to the scene to try to figure out what shredded the animal feed plant while 38 people were working inside. authorities have not said what triggered the collapse. the occupational safety and health administration fined the owner back in 2002 after a worker fell into a mixing tank. and, again, in 2012 after an inspection. the company, so far, has not commented, but police say is cooperating fully. meanwhile, investigators will be heading back to the scene to try to figure out what caused this accident, willie.
