>> breaking news out of london this morning, two aids to celebrity chef nigella lawson today were found not guilty in court. jim is in london with more. good morning.

>> reporter: good morning, natalie. well, what this means is that the jury did not believe nigella lawson 's story that her two personal assistants abused her trust and spent over $1 million with a credit card that belongs, in fact, to lawson 's ex-husband. instead, the jury found that the assistants story made sense. that lawson approved those purchases and that she, as it turns out, a frequent user of cocaine, may have done that to curry favor with the women to prevent the secret of her drug abuse from getting out. that at least was the defenses -- those defending the two women, that was theirs. this is a huge blow to lawson , her reputation, and her career which she has been trying to launch in the united states . natalie, back to you.
