>> reporter: this morning she said she would rather by a shamed than be bullied about lies about it. she strongly denied she let her former assistant spend enormous amounts so they would keep what they characterize as her daily cocaine habit a secret from her husband. nigella lawson is back for another day of grilling on the stand. her strong voice often trembling. nigella admitted she used cocaine a handful of times in the past when her first husband was dying of cancer and once during her turbulent marriage to her husband. denying there were dollars with white powder on her desk and around her home or an every day user. she said people that do that are thinner than i am. she admitted to smoking an odd joint including with or in front of her teenably children. this was her chance to publicly and repeatedly rip into saatchi, which she re14ed from doing during their much publicized marriage meltdown calling him bullying, controlling. she said she was subjected to intimate acts of terrorism, shamed, isolated in fear, just unhappy. i did not have a drug problem. i had a life problem. i think i needed sedation since freeing mooim myself from a brilliant but now brutal man, i am now cannabis and cocaine drug free. they claim she had drawers full of xanax and anti-depressants. she allowed them to spend it on herself than lie to her husband out of fear saying it feels leak i am on trial. the personal assistants are on trial, her ex-husband partially blames her for their spending for her occasional drug use , she blamed him, making this fraud trial seem at times like a nasty spat between a couple who are supposed to be on the same side here in this. back to you, guys.
