>>> what's trending today. and wove ge've got a family feud . one of america's most prominent political families out into public. it's liz chaney. liz is in the middle of a heated republican senate campaign and she has been outspoken in her opposition to gay marriage even though her sister is gay. she says she loves her sister very much but they disagree.

>> this spilled out to sunday shows yesterday and the response from mary was swift and personal. she wrote this isn't just an issue on which we disagree you're just wrong and on the wrong side of history and her wife went further suggesting liz was playing politics and calling the comments she made offensive. i asked former vice president chaney about this. if it was a source of tension and she said if it was, i wouldn't tell you.
