>>> we brought you on tuesday about a surfer that helped save the life of a fellow surfer. she was riding a huge wave in portugal when she wiped out. he was in the water getting pounded by violent waves. he jumped on a jet ski and road out to save her. she then had to be resuscitated. i talked to him by skype this morning.

>> i was fortunate and lucky to be in the right place at the right time. like i said, too, you know, it's really important to have her with us. more important than anything else.

>> she suffered a broken ankle but otherwise she is doing fine. later in the day he then went on to break a possible world record by riding that 100 foot wave. that is amazing.
