Texas to appeal federal ruling blocking abortion law

The state of Texas will appeal a federal ruling blocking a key part of the state’s new abortion law. On Monday, a federal judge blocked a Texas provision that required any doctor performing an abortion to have admitting privileges at a hospital less than 30 miles away.
