Kenneth Bae’s mother visits detained son in North Korea

The mother of American detainee Kenneth Bae pleaded with North Korean officials for visitation rights after Bae fell ill. She arrived this week in Pyongyang to visit Bae, who was arrested in November 2012 as a tourist and sentenced to 15 years for “hostile acts.”
