Tropical Storm Gabrielle pushing forward

The storm is making its way northwest, pouring heavy rains on Puerto Rico and neighboring islands. The projected path shows good news for coastal U.S.: by Friday, Gabrielle should be veering out into the Atlantic.

>> we are watching the tropics, things getting going. we have tropical storm gabrielle southwest of puerto rico , 40-mile-an-hour winds moving northwest at 8 miles per hour. it's going to be bringing a ton of rain to puerto rico , the dominican republic and haiti. in the mountains, locally, up to 10 inches of rain. good news for coastal u.s. and, of the n the entire united states . we look like it's not going to cause any problems for us. by friday afternoon, it makes a turn, starts to head out into the atlantic. by early monday, it's threatening bermuda. we'll have to keep an eye on that for that island. other than that, no big problems.
