DOJ won’t block state laws legalizing medical marijuana

The Justice Department stated on Thursday that it will not be challenging state laws legalizing the recreational use of marijuana. Medical marijuana is currently legal in 20 states and the District of Columbia, but still remains illegal under federal law.
