Toll-skipping drivers to be publicly shamed

In an attempt to reduce unpaid tolls in Illinois, Gov. Pat Quinn has decided to publicize online the names of drivers who have fines totaling more than $1,000.

>>> shaming comes to illinois. so if you're a driver who racked up considerable fines on the state's toll ways , you better pay them off by the end of this week. otherwise, you could find your name posted on a public website. motorists with tolls and fines totaling more than $1,000 are going to be called out online. this is not the first state to do this. similar tactics have been used in texas, new york and new jersey. does it work? i would think it probably does.
