Gas prices blamed for poor consumer confidence

The majority of Americans are feeling pessimistic about the economy, and gas prices may be to blame. In a recent study, nearly 9 out of 10 consumers say that rising gas prices have a large impact on their sentiment toward the overall state of the economy.
